A few pictures of the brilliant project work done by the Gappers in Ecuador at the moment.
The painting is in the Guaderia at Camp Maqui; believe me, it was not just painting. The floor needed taking up and replacing, literally days were spent sanding down, repairing and putting linseed oil on the bamboo, the outside of the building was cleared ... and and and.
The interpretation centre is in the Amazon. Ecuador has one of the highest rates of deforestation in South America, through work such as this we hope to educate local children, tourists and the local population as a whole on the importance of their environment and the animals that live within it.
