Jungle Trekking

Jungle Trekking

FROM £250

Experience a true jungle adventure and get back to nature by spending a few days trekking in the beautiful and ancient rainforests of Borneo, miles from civilization. Spend your days trekking through dense forests and tea plantations, negotiate steep mud banks and cross small rivers, try and spot some of the spectacular wildlife including elephants, antelopes and monkeys and learn bush craft and survival skills from local jungle guides including how to set up camp and string up your own hammock each night.

This is a real adventure, you, the jungle, your kit and a parang (this is what the locals use to chop and cut up trees and plants and its all you need to survive in the jungle – apparently!!). Just don’t forget to pack your waterproofs!

How to book

Once you’ve decided which country you want to go to and how long you want to stay for you can start thinking about adding on an adventure! You don’t have to limit yourself to just one so check out all the options.  You can book an adventure at the same time as booking your volunteer programme or at a later date by phone or email.
