Telesales Executive (Term Time only)

Based in Ringwood

Start Date: Thursday 28 - August 2014

Camps International is seeking a skilled Telesales Executive with passion, drive and dedication to be based in Ringwood. This role will involve talking to teachers of all levels, including Headmasters, to book meetings for our Regional Expedition Coordinators.  Basically it’s an interesting telesales role … that’s ethical!

This is an excellent opportunity to develop within an expanding business. In addition to a fantastic and worthwhile product, the role also offers:

So - what does the role look like?

You will be required to pick up the phone and book new appointments with schools for our Regional Expedition Coordinators, and in a nutshell this is a rare, ethical, sales role!

As part of your role, you’ll also be required to work to an individual and team target. This is a crucial role and you will work closely with our Regional Expedition Coordinators to ensure that their diaries are full of high quality meetings.

You will also be required to help with fundraising advice and support for students and parents, providing a high level of customer service to people signed up on our expeditions.

We’re a team here at Camps so you’ll also need to ‘muck in’ as and when needed to support other teams when needed – and why? Because they will for you! It’s that kinda place.

Regional Expedition Coordinator vacancies (with field sales skills)

Camps International are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Expedition Coordinator with field sales skills to join our unique and ethical expedition company. This varied and exciting role will involve new and repeat business development in secondary schools within your region and the surrounding counties.

£23-27k OTE per annum

So – what does the role look like?

It’s a varied role where you will be required to pick up the phone and book new appointments with schools and conduct a number of sales presentations with teachers, students and their parents, whilst working to an individual and team target. Make no mistake, this role may require lengthy drives to various parts of the country and can mean occasionally staying away from home, but this is a rare, ethical, sales role!

About You

We are looking for a real “people-person”, with a passion for travel and who is also target-driven with excellent sales skills.  You will need to embrace the Camps ethos and working culture to successfully offer our expedition experiences to new schools whilst delivering an excellent standard of support to those already travelling with us.

We are also looking for individuals who tick the following boxes:

  • Commitment to operate with passion, drive and integrity - these are our company values and the basis on which all Camps staff conduct themselves
  • Proven sales experience  - ideally in the travel sector/ field sales, or face to face sales experience ideal   
  • Travel industry experience or a passion for travel
  • Results orientation
  • Excellent presentation skills, with the self-confidence and passion to present in assemblies and parents presentations.
  • Self driven with the capacity to work with limited supervision
  • Superb communication skills  – telephone manner, written proposals and presentation skills
  • Capacity to adjust your style according to your audience
  • Excellent negotiation and liaison skills
  • Computer proficient (we work on Macs!) and Microsoft Office proficient
  • Full driving license essential
  • Teamwork – we didn’t just add this in as a nice to have – at Camps we really do value our team culture and ethos
