Financial Donations to Camp Kenya Charitable Trust Gap year travel Africa - back to top

Financial contributions, no matter how large or small, are extremely valuable to the continuation of our projects in Kenya and Tanzania as they allow us to support and expand all of our long term conservation and sustainable community development work, as well as forging ahead with new projects to help even more communities and wildlife areas.

How will I make a difference?

make a differenceWe have been shortlisted 4 years running for the World Responsible Travel Awards, winning a highly commended award in 2008 for 'best volunteering organisation'. You can expect to spend your stay working on a wide range of initiatives where you really will make a difference. You achieve this by working on a diverse range of local humanitarian, social and environmental projects that we have developed in partnership with the local communities under expert guidance. This gives you the opportunity to make a real difference through your financial and physical contributions. We also hope that you will come away as educated ambassadors for the critical issues facing conservation and community development.

Testimonial
Volunteer Holidays AfricaThe best part of my visit has been the Kenyan people, everyone has been friendly, warm and welcoming. It is what I will remember most. The work that Camp Kenya is doing for Stephen Kanja School is fantastic. I hope that I will come back here again and see the trees and kitchen that we worked on .The camp here is a lovely place made special by the staff. I will miss it and the people Volunteer Holidays Africa
