Kenya Family Volunteering Trip

Spend quality time with your family on this activity-packed holiday with a difference. You’ll experience the best that Kenya has to offer as you travel to this exciting part of the world helping to protect the environment and improve living standards for the local community. This is a fantastic opportunity for your children to meet new people of a similar age and experience a different way of life. With plenty of unique and fun activities specifically designed with them in mind, they’ll be sure to have the trip of a lifetime!

You will be staying in Camp Tsavo, a beautiful camp set in the heart of a private and exclusive wildlife conservation area bordering the world-famous Tsavo National Park. With it’s scenic beauty and abundant wildlife, it offers an authentic African bush experience that you won’t find on a package safari. You will work alongside the warm and welcoming local villagers on a range of school and community projects, giving your family the unique opportunity to experience the true African way of life. Our brilliant local safari guides will teach you how to identify and track wildlife, alongside some basic bush skills and activities that are suitable for children before you embark on your own safari to experience some of the best wildlife viewing in Africa.

During your stay at Camp Tsavo you will be staying in the exclusive Ndovu House, offering two double and two triple en-suite bedrooms. This house is ideal for two separate families or one group of friends up to ten people. Enjoy spacious indoor/outdoor living under the cathedral-like thatch of the house or the beautiful views over the Taru Desert out to Mount Kasigau. The house has a beautiful open plan living and dining area with a spiral staircase up to an airy loft relaxation area with spectacular views over the sanctuary. Evenings can be spent al fresco around your own campfire under the blanket of stars on a spectacular African night or sat at your own Mount Kasigau Bar once the children have collapsed, winding down and preparing for the following day’s adventure!
