We have several mountaineers in our team and it is entirely by design that we run so many mountain expeditions. We also pride ourselves on a summit success rate that is rare to find in our industry and stands at over 90% for the hundreds of adventurers who have trekked with us.

 

We have noticed that most brochures describe the glistening peak of Kilimanjaro and wax lyrical about the stunning scenery, breathtaking vistas and cheerful superhuman porters.

 

 

They often fail to mention the sweat and tears that go into successfully trekking to the summits of Kili, Mt Kenya and Mt Meru. It is an outstanding achievement to even start one of these treks and not to be entered into lightly.

 

This said, the rewards are incredible and we will not even try to describe the extraordinary sense of achievement that comes from standing on the summit watching the sunrise over Africa (or in some cases to the end of your nose depending on weather conditions).

 

Our formula for success relies on professional guides, well paid porters and quite simply, we take longer and go slower.
