Camps featured in Travel Africa!
As you know the post-election crises following Kenya’s 2007 elections brought the entire country to its knees. The tourism sector was one of the worst hit as nobody wanted to risk travelling to Kenya. No one was spared and there was not a day last year that we wondered how we would be able to hold up all the projects and communities that we have committed to – this was a priority for us and we made it. And yes, we are very proud to reiterate Sue Watt’s words, “Camps International is one operation where the financial gains take a back seat to the needs of local communities and their environments…”
