Recruitment
So you want to work for Camps?
In a nutshell, we provide amazing opportunities for school and gap year students through our volunteer programs in both Africa and Asia.
These programs incorporate much needed community development and wildlife conservation projects that not only allow us to provide often life-changing* experiences to our students (*their words, not ours!), but the positive impact we make on the communities and environment we work in means the more successful we are, the greater the positive impact on the area. Our guys tell us this makes for a much happier Monday morning feeling!!
It’s not just those who work here that think we make a difference – we are the proud winners of the ‘Best Volunteer Organisation’ category at the 2008 Responsible Tourism Awards.
Still interested? Great! Why not check out Camps TV to see a little more about what we do, or cast an eye over the videos below of our lovely staff talking about how wonderful we are (and no, we didn't bribe them to say all that!)

Accounts Assistant
Responsible to: UK Accounts Manager
Applications close 24th April 2013
Based in Ringwood, Hampshire
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our dynamic and lively team within the Finance department.
In a nutshell, Camps International provide amazing opportunities for school and gap year students across the globe to participate in our award winning volunteer programs throughout Africa, Asia and South America.
Our business not only allows us to provide often life changing* experiences to our students (*their words, not ours!), but the positive impact we make on the communities and environment means the more successful we are, the greater the positive impact on the area we operate in. What are we looking for?
We are seeking an accounts assistant to join the busy finance team following a period of growth, based at our Ringwood office.
Experience of the finance and accounts function within an organisation is desirable, although not essential – we will consider college leaver applications. Applicants will need excellent data entry skills and posses the ability to work within set timeframes - this is key to ensuring timely information is delivered to management.
This role will involve communication with both internal and external personnel and therefore previous experience of dealing with people professionally, at different levels, is desirable. As a member of the finance team, the ability to work closely alongside others is fundamental to ensuring that the accounts department continues to run smoothly.
The other great stuff:
- Opportunity! Opportunity! Opportunity – We are continuing to expand and with that comes opportunity for those delivering results!
- Stunning offices based in the leafy market town of Ringwood. Close to gym, supermarket, major motorways and lovely country garden pubs for those summer evenings!
- Free Parking
- BUPA private healthcare cover
- Outdoor kit and clothing discounts
- Casual dress code
If you have the relevant experience and would like to be considered then please forward your CV for immediate consideration (including salary expectations and available start dates) to: lyndsey@campsinternational.com
