Camps International delivers life-changing expedition experiences for schools across Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Our programmes combine student leadership development with tangible community and conservation impact. The Camps Effect sits at the heart of everything we do: meaningful experiences for young people, delivered responsibly, with purpose.
As part of our continued growth, we are expanding our UK schools’ sales team to include specialist Regional Expedition Coordinators dedicated to Camps International expeditions delivered in partnership with Raleigh International.
This is a specialist sales role, focused exclusively on selling Camps International, Raleigh expedition programmes to schools across the UK.
You will work alongside our established Camps International school sales team, who sell the full CI product portfolio. Your role is deliberately different: you are a conversion specialist, engaging schools where the Raleigh-partnered expedition offer is the strongest fit – including schools that may not be suited to, or have not converted through, our core CI programmes.
You will be supported by a desk-based Business Development team who will book meetings for you, and you will take ownership of progressing those opportunities through to confirmed expedition launches and student sign-ups.
While independent schools are the primary focus, this role is not limited exclusively to that sector, and you’ll be collaborating strongly with the whole UK Sales Team.
This is an ethical, consultative, and high-impact sales role, combining desk-based work with regional travel for meetings and launches.
• Deliver sales for Camps International expeditions in partnership with Raleigh International only
• Book and conduct sales meetings and presentations with teachers, students, parents, and senior leadership teams
• Convert booked meetings into confirmed expedition launches and student sign-up
• Work to clear individual and team revenue and pax targets
• Collaborate closely with desk-based Business Development, Operations, and the wider CI schools sales team
• Maintain accurate pipeline data and activity records within CRM systems
• Travel across your region for school meetings, launches, and events (with occasional overnight stays)
• Represent Camps International with professionalism, integrity, and clarity at all times
• Uphold agreed account-ownership and de-confliction processes to ensure excellent school experience and internal collaboration
This role suits someone who is commercially driven, enthusiastically adventurous, comfortable with accountability, and confident operating as a specialist within a wider team.
You will ideally bring:
Experience in schools, youth development, expeditions, or experiential travel is an advantage but not essential.
Along with the Camps Employee benefits you also benefit from:
If you’re energised by the challenge of building something meaningful, inspired by the opportunity to impact thousands of young lives, and driven by a challenge then we’d love to hear from you.
This role is perfect for someone who combines sales acumen with a desire to make a different in an action-oriented role, perfect for someone who thrives in an independent autonomous role nested within a closeknit team.
