Day 3 Workshops Workshops with local medical volunteers and NGOs. Your team will be split into small groups and mixed with local medical professionals, giving you the opportunity to discuss and share knowledge about local tropical diseases and problems facing the community. This will provide you with a better overview of the common ailments you can expect to see in the field during clinic days.

You will also be involved in raising vital awareness on key issues for local youth groups, and set up a sexual health workshop to deliver advice and answer questions from the community

In the afternoon you can learn more about the local culture with an opportunity to cook traditional foods, learn how to weave makuti (palm leaves), visit a witchdoctor and buy souvenirs for friends and relatives if you would like to.
Day 13 Beach Day A final chance to lie on the beach and relax before you head home.
If you’re up for some more adventure, you can extend your trip and head on a safari in the incredible Tsavo National Park. Let us know if you’d like to add this top-up and we can arrange this for you.
