Day 1 Arrival Welcome to Seoul, the start of your adventure! Upon arrival, friendly local guides will greet you. Begin with a trip briefing covering your travel plans, cultural tips and safety advice. Then, enjoy a walking tour where your guide will introduce you to the Korean culture and share tips for your visit. After a delicious dinner, relax at the hotel and recharge for the exciting days ahead.
Day 2 Cultural Exploration Get ready for a day of culture, history, and excitement! Start with breakfast, then dive into a thrilling half-day tour of Seoul’s top landmarks. Visit Seoul Namsan Tower, Gangnam, Lotte Tower and Gyeongbok Palace with your expert local guide. After lunch, dive into history at Gyeongbokgung Palace, the stunning main royal palace of the Joseon Dynasty. Explore its beautiful grounds and then hike up to Bukchon Hanok Village, a traditional Korean village filled with narrow alleys and charming Hanok houses. Cap off your day with a visit to Myeong-dong, Korea’s bustling shopping district! Wander through vibrant streets lined with trendy shops and department stores, perfect for picking up brand-name cosmetics, clothes and accessories.
Day 3 DMZ and Cable Car Ride Get ready for a day filled with history, breathtaking views and unforgettable experiences! After breakfast, embark on a 2-hour journey north of Seoul to the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ), the unique border between North and South Korea. Take in sweeping views from the Dora Observatory and explore an infiltration tunnel built by the North Koreans. Following lunch, visit Imjingak Park, rich with war history and artifacts. Explore the expansive Pyeonghwa Nuri Park, the poignant Freedom Bridge and the Imjingang rail bridge, all steeped in Korean War memories. As evening approaches, head to Myeong-dong Station and ride the cable car up Namsan to N Seoul Tower. Relish the stunning cityscape as you ascend, then soak in the panoramic views from the observation deck at Seoul’s iconic landmark.
Day 4 K-Pop Culture Get ready for an unforgettable day of music, dance and fun! Ever dreamed of being a K-Pop backup dancer? Now’s your chance! Join our K-Pop dance class, where professional instructors will guide you as you dance and sing along to your favourite hits. After lunch, immerse yourself in K-Culture at HiKR Ground, a lively hub dedicated to all things K-Pop. Discover interactive arts and exhibitions, marvel at stunning media art on the massive HiKR Wall and create your own K-Pop music videos in the XR Live Studio. As the day winds down, unleash your inner superstar at a local karaoke spot, belting out all the hottest K-Pop tracks.
Day 5 Cooking Class, Markets and Evening Show Get ready for a day packed with culinary delights and unforgettable experiences! Join a hands-on cooking class led by a local expert and learn to prepare traditional Korean dishes yourself. Explore the vibrant Namdaemun Market, Korea’s oldest and largest traditional market. Wander through bustling alleys filled with countless shops and street stalls offering everything from clothing to delicious street food. End the day by watching an exciting evening show in the city. Choose from captivating options like the Nanta Show, Chef Show or The Painter Show to immerse yourself in Korea’s rich art and culture.
Day 6 Martial Arts and River Cruise Get ready for a day packed with action, exploration, and unforgettable experiences! Kick off your adventure by visiting a Dojang, the training hall where martial arts like Taekwondo and Tangsoodo come to life! Get ready for an exhilarating training session led by a local instructor. After lunch, dive into the trendy Starfield COEX Mall, a vibrant hub of fashion, food, culture and entertainment! Browse through stylish shops, savour delicious bites, or chill out at the Starfield Library, home to over 50,000 books. Don’t forget to check out the amazing COEX Aquarium! As evening approaches, unwind with a scenic cruise on the Han River. Take in stunning views as you glide towards the iconic Banpo Bridge, famous for its spectacular fountains.
Day 7 Culture Station Seoul 284 and Baseball Start your final day at Culture Station Seoul 284, a vibrant cultural space where architecture, art and history unite. Discover the rich legacy of the former Seoul Station, a key player in Korea’s modern history and a bustling hub for nearly a century. Enjoy a fun and immersive experience that brings the past to life! After lunch, dive into the Seoul Museum of History, where you can explore relics and historic houses that showcase the early life and culture of Seoul. Next, embrace Korea’s passion for baseball with a visit to the local batting cages and test your swing! As the day wraps up, gather for a special reflection session with students, faculty and adventure leaders. Day 8 Departure It’s time to say farewell to Korea. You’ll transfer back to Seoul Airport in time for your return flight home.
