Day Activities More details
Day 1 Welcome to Sri Lanka Your Sri Lankan adventure kicks off the moment you arrive at Colombo International Airport, where you’ll be warmly greeted by a friendly representative and guide. From there, you’ll embark on a scenic journey to your adventure centre for the trip. Enroute to the centre, we’ll make an unforgettable stop at the historic Galle Fort, where you’ll dive into Sri Lanka’s rich past with a scavenger hunt through its iconic walls. This isn’t just a history lesson; it’s a hands-on adventure that brings the fort’s fascinating stories to life. Once we’ve explored Galle, we’ll continue onto your accommodation, where you’ll check in and join the group for a welcoming dinner.
Day 2 Yoga, Beach Clean Up & Water Sports Start your day with a invigorating morning mindfulness yoga, followed by a nourishing breakfast. The morning will see us focus on a beach clean-up project where you will learn about the dangers of plastic pollution before turning collected debris into impactful art pieces that raise awareness for ocean conservation. In the afternoon you’ll get to enjoy some water activities. Here you will split into groups. Group A will hit the waves for a thrilling surfing session, while Group B will choose between mastering sea kayaking or stand-up paddleboarding. After your chosen activity, the groups will swap, ensuring everyone gets a chance to experience a selection of water sports. End the day with a delicious group dinner, sharing stories and reflecting on your day’s achievements.
Day 3 Yoga, Water Sports & Cooking Challenge Enjoy breakfast and some morning yoga before it’s back to the water. Spend time trying out the water activities you might have missed out on yesterday’s session, whether it’s catching waves, kayaking, or stand-up paddleboarding. After lunch, let the fun continue as you put your teamwork and communication skills to the test with exciting ground games and activities that promise plenty of laughter and camaraderie. As the afternoon unfolds, unleash your inner chef in a cooking challenge. Guided by an expert chef and friendly guides you will work with your team to produce a tasty feast. Celebrate your culinary creations over a group dinner.
Day 4 Language Exchange & Water Sports Start your day with morning yoga and breakfast, setting the tone for today’s adventures. Local students will then join us for a fun language exchange. You’ll help them practice English through interactive workshops and games. Get creative with activities like games, songs and conversations that make learning enjoyable. After a morning of learning, enjoy lunch with the students. It’s a great time to practice language skills and build connections beyond the classroom. In the afternoon, head to the beach for water activities: surfing, sea kayaking or paddleboarding, depending on the schedule. As the day wraps up, return for dinner, reflection and relaxation.
Day 5 – 7 School Project Work & Water Sports Each morning begins with breakfast and energising yoga followed by project at a local village school. Projects could include painting, gardening or another impactful activity chosen in collaboration with the school. After a well-earned lunch your afternoons will be dedicated to water sports. Depending on the day, you’ll enjoy surfing, sea kayaking or paddleboarding. Evenings are for unwinding. Share stories with friends, enjoy lively music and relax as the sun sets, ready for another rewarding day.
Day 8 Departure After breakfast, we will ask you to divide into groups and present summaries of your experiences. You will then be transported to the airport for their departure flight.
