Day Activities More details
Day 1 Arrival Welcome to Indonesia! Arrive at Ngurah Rai Airport and transfer over to your accommodation in Ubud. Freshen up and rest after your long flight and get ready for the welcome dinner at your hotel.
Day 2 Sightseeing Bali Spend the day exploring Bali’s picturesque locations such as Lake Bratan, Twin Lake View, and Sangeh Monkey Forest. The Ulun Danu temple, situated by Lake Bratan, was constructed in the early 17th century to honour God and seek blessings for fertility, prosperity, and well-being. Nearby, the Twin Lake View offers a stunning vista of Lake Buyan and Lake Tamblingan, separated by a natural land bridge formed from a volcanic eruption thousands of years ago. Sangeh Monkey Forest, located in south-central Bali, serves as a sanctuary for grey long-tailed macaques and hosts diverse flora and fauna, including ancient nutmeg trees towering up to 40 meters.
Day 3-5 Green Camp Bali Pack your luggage and drive to Green Camp Bali. Green Camp offers holistic, nature-immersed programmes and for the next 3 days you will be enjoying a range of activities such as learning the Balinese culture by learning to make offerings, regenerative farming, a tour of the Bamboo Palace School, a bamboo tower challenge, a traditional market “Menu Mapping Challenge” games and many more.
Day 6 Batur Sunrise Trekking (2 hours) + Seminyak It’s trekking time! The Mount Batur Sunrise trek starts before dawn, with provided flashlights leading the way through the darkness. As you ascend, the path transforms from easy to challenging, culminating in a triumphant summit push. At the top of the summit watch the sky slowly turn from black to inky blue to pink and orange. Ensure you bring sturdy shoes for the trek. After conquering the peak, enjoy a breakfast box before descending and indulging in a relaxing soak in a natural hot spring. After lunch we will head back to your hotel in Seminyak. In the evening you will walk with your guide to a restaurant nearby for dinner.
Day 7 Tanah Lot Tour and Farewell Dinner Spend the morning learning and caring for Balinese turtles! All sea turtle species are endangered due to human activity. Hunting and the consumption of eggs, along with the pollution of the ocean and destruction of breeding beaches has decreased the turtle population dramatically over the last few years. That’s why we’re here to help! After lunch the journey continues to Tanah Lot Temple, a Balinese temple perched on a rock overlooking the ocean in Tabanan. Tanah Lot, located around 30 km from Denpasar, sits 300 meters offshore, offering a breath taking view of crashing waves and the colourful dusk sky. Visitors can witness the traditional Kecak Dance, a Balinese masterpiece performed at sunset without artificial backdrop or musical instruments. The performance, illuminated by bamboo torches, features 50-60 men in sarongs forming concentric circles around the torches, creating a mesmerising experience.
Day 8 Departure Home time! Time to say goodbye to your new friends, taking lifelong memories with you.
