We understand that with our commitment to your son or daughter, we are assuming significant responsibility. This responsibility is one we take very seriously. We provide opportunities for young people to develop their personal skills and accomplish extraordinary things during their time with us.
This is not a holiday – it’s often a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and we make sure every moment counts.
Our award-winning school expeditions ensure your child is fully supported from the moment they sign up to the moment they come home with dirty clothes and thousands of amazing memories.
More about Camps
Our expeditions offer a blend of project work, adventure and cultural immersion, with itineraries carefully designed to create life-changing experiences and meaningful, lasting impact – for your child and for the people and places they visit.
Life on expedition will place young travellers in situations that cannot be replicated in the classroom or at home. Challenging themselves to take on new adventures outside their comfort zone will build confidence and resilience, allowing them to shape their identity as well as gaining a greater understanding of the wider world.
Working alongside local people on sustainable projects provides a unique opportunity to integrate with new cultures, speak new languages, make new and lasting friendships and improve their leadership and team-working skills. They’ll also gain valuable experiences to enhance their resume and job or university applications.
Time and again parents tell us their children come back from expedition transformed – with an increased sense of confidence, purpose and gratitude and a renewed perspective on life.
More on personal development
Safety is undoubtedly the most important part of your child’s trip, and something we take very seriously. Every member of our team is dedicated to giving your son or daughter the best experience whilst prioritising their safety throughout.
Unlike most expedition companies, we own or manage our ground operation in the countries we operate, which means we can provide your child with an unparalleled level of safety and support on expedition. We have resident British directors in every region and our operations teams are permanently based on location, so we are always on hand to deal with and prevent any incidents rather than react from afar. Our operations rooms are staffed 24/7 with live communications to all our camps, teams and our supporting network including hospitals.
We are proud to uphold the highest standards of quality and safety, as demonstrated by our BS8848 British standard accreditation and our Learning Outside the Classroom badge. This is your assurance that we have tried and tested systems in place to ensure your child’s safety during their time with us.
Our Safety
Fundraising is a hugely valuable part of the expedition journey, and helps your child develop important skills for life, such as planning, negotiating and managing a budget.
We completely understand the thought of raising the full amount for an expedition is daunting. That’s why we have put such a fantastic fundraising support network in place to help you and your child on your fundraising journey – face to face, over the phone and online through our Traveller Gateway portal. All of this support is available to students from the moment they sign up to the expedition, with hundreds of ideas and resources to make fundraising achievable for everyone.
Each year we see thousands of fundraising success stories from students all over the UK and we’ll be here to help your child achieve their goals too.
