Connect with Laura?

In attendance at both school leadership conferences is our Middle East & Asia Team Manager, Laura Negus, who will be on hand to discuss all the benefits of immersive school travel.

A Little About Laura

Laura is a strong advocate of travel and how travel experiences can help gain wisdom, appreciation and a broader perspective of different cultures and the world around us. This passion led Laura to join Camps International where she has worked closely with schools and teachers over the past eight years delivering, leading or launching trips to young adults across Latin America, East Africa and Southeast Asia. Giving students the opportunity to experience experiential travel, build character, resilience and empathy is a rewarding experience for Laura that spurs her on to go that extra mile in delivering unforgettable expeditions.

Why A Camps Expedition?

Personal Development

Our expeditions empower students to venture outside their comfort zones, acquiring valuable extracurricular experiences that are highly valued by both universities and employers. Furthermore, the health benefits are profound, improved mental well-being, increased resilience and self-awareness, as well as reduced levels of anxiety and stress

Immersive Extracurricular Learning

Adventuring ‘off grid’ with students provides them with genuine experiences and meaningful interactions with local communities, these opportunities enrich the immersive school expedition, making it truly impactful. Through incorporating these meaningful interactions into the educational journey, students will emerge not only well-informed but also equipped with empathy for their peers.

Global Impact and Meaningful Contributions

When young adults participate in activities like building clean water sources, promoting sustainable agriculture practices, and engaging in biodiversity conservation initiatives, they learn to navigate real-world challenges. This hands-on experience provides them with insight into how their actions directly contribute to the sustainable advancement of communities and the environment.
